Piano Time
Piano Time (PT) is a hugely successful series for all young pianists by Pauline Hall, taking pupils from the first lessons up to around Grade 3. David has contributed a number of pieces to this series, with pieces in Piano Time 1 and 2, Piano Time Pieces books 1-3, PT Jazz books 1 and 2, PT Going Places, and the two duet books, Duets with a Difference and Mixed Doubles. Two of his favourite books are shown below.
Piano Time Pieces, book 2
A sparkling selection of pieces to sit alongside Piano Time book 2. David has four pieces in this collection, including the expressive ‘Russian winter’ and the boisterous ‘Rollercoaster ride’.
Piano Time Jazz, book 2
A second book of original pieces in a range of jazz and light-hearted styles, complete with witty illustrations. There are six pieces by David in this collection, including two that have been selected for ABRSM Grade 2, ‘Cat’s eyes’ and ‘Railroad blues’.
